CANADIAN WEB CONSULTANTS LTD.
|
|
The company was established in March 1984 by
Stephen Tweddle, President and Michele Belanger. The original conception
was to offer Pre-Press and Pressroom training coupled with Preventive
Maintenance Programs to Newspapers and Commercial Printers. As early
as 1965 Steve had worked in various printing plants and during that
time had several designed training and preventive maintenance programs
to educate the personnel. During the 1970's and 1980's the manufactures
strived to make their equipment user friendly and the art of pressman
ship had declined, as a result there was a definite lack of skilled
staff, as there still is today. Michele Belanger, designed pre-press
programs and using her extensive knowledge in both departments introduced
a complete production training package. Over the years CWC expanded
their services and staff to include Plant layout, Preventive maintenance
Programs, Plant Audits, Rebuilds and Installations. To date CWC has
conducted programs on an global level encompassing no less than 5 continents
, in 39 countries.
